We are pleased to announce that Hunters has once again been highlighted as a leading firm in the eighth annual publication of the Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) guide 2023.

Hunters is ranked in two categories – Family/Matrimonial: High Net Worth and Real Estate: High Value Residential – along with three lawyers receiving recognition as leading individuals in their practice areas.

Family/Matrimonial: High Net Worth

“In a time when one is going through the most difficult moments in life, often breaking up a family and chopping up the fruits of a lifetime achievement and coping with personal failure, Hunters is a great partner to remind you that these proceedings are a process of transformation, that they have your back and will support you through this and that there will be life afterwards. When you have no more energy to fight, they will put the objective right back in front of your eyes to keep you going.”

Our family department has ‘a unique ability to handle extremely difficult matters’ and has retained its UK-wide Band 2 ranking. Two of our Partners, Henry Hood (Band 1) and Jo Carr-West (Band 5) have received individual commendations.

  • “He [Henry] gives a Rolls-Royce service at a reasonable price.”
  • “Jo is an absolutely brilliant lawyer. She is extremely technically able, but also has fantastic client care skills and her abilities in terms of drafting statements is second to none. She is a delight to work with.”

Real Estate: High Value Residential

“In a complicated situation, we were in very good hands and received very clear and thoughtful advice from Hunters.”

This year marks a new entry in the guide for our ‘extremely helpful, always available and very efficient’ property team. Partner and head of department, James Vernor-Miles, has been acknowledged as a leading individual (Band 4).

  • “James is very smart and thoughtful, with a relaxed but business-like manner. He is clearly very experienced and nothing fazed him at any point.”

Reflecting on our success in the directory, Henry Hood, Senior Partner, expressed his pride in the firm’s accomplishments: “We are immensely proud of our firm’s continual recognition in the Chambers HNW guide – our success in securing prominent rankings and individual rankings in both property and family law is testament to the exceptional expertise and dedicationg of of our team.

This achievement further reinforces our commitment to delivering legal services of the highest quality and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of HNW individuals and families. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide the highest level of service in all our endeavours.
