For any business, the Articles of Association are critical – binding the members and governing the way the company’s run.

The lay out the answers to questions like who appoints or dismisses directors; when you need a unanimous or majority decision; or how share transfers are restricted. Articles are a public document, filed at Companies House, and they give a business its legal position in a dispute.
