Daniel completed his training contract at Hunters, and joined the firm’s Private Client Department upon qualifying as a solicitor in November 2017.
He read English Law with French Law at the University of Manchester, where he was awarded the R G Lawson Prize for Comparative Law. Daniel went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester.
Daniel has experience in a broad range of private client matters including: tax and estate planning; wills; trusts; powers of attorney and mental capacity matters; and probate and estate administration (including cross-border estates). Daniel has a particular interest in advising on Court of Protection applications, including deputyships and statutory Wills; and in advising on the use of trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries (such as individuals with a disability or declining mental capacity).
Daniel achieved distinctions in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Administration of Estates, Administration of Trusts, and Taxation of Trusts and Estates exams. Daniel is also a full accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers: What is a Lifetime Lawyer?
Daniel regularly comments in the press, and his articles have been published in The Times, FT Advisor, Taxation Magazine and Bloomberg.
