Lydia Chapman joined Hunters in October 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently working in our Property department, assisting the team with residential and commercial property transactions of all kinds.

Prior to joining Hunters, Lydia worked as a Caseworker in the family department of a Tier 4 Legal 500 firm. She studied Anthropology and Data Statistics at the University of Exeter, before completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University and the accelerated LPC with Distinction at ULaw.

During her time at BPP, Lydia volunteered at the BPP Legal Advice Clinic and as part of their Streetlaw program. Within Streetlaw, she ran virtual workshops in primary schools and for young offenders, as well as internal information seminars about legal issues. She worked in the family and housing department at the Legal Advice Clinic, leading appointments with clients and writing letters of advice.

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys cooking, surfing and she attends St Simon Zelotes Church. She sings in the music team and leads Sunday School twice a month. Lydia is also a Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England.”
