Vanina qualified as a solicitor in September 2016, joined Hunters as a Private Client Associate in October 2018 and was promoted to Senior Associate in April 2021.

Vanina undertakes a wide range of private client work, acting for individuals (including drafting wills and trust documents, the preparation and registration of lasting powers of attorney, and providing tax and estate planning advice), executors in relation to probate applications and the administration of estates, and trustees in the management of trusts, whether smaller family trusts or landed estates.

Vanina is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates – England and Wales in 2021 with distinctions in all four papers.

Vanina is fluent in Italian and French, having grown up in both countries, and she read for degrees in Development Studies and South East Asian Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London and Wolfson College, Oxford. Before deciding to qualify as a solicitor, Vanina worked as an administrator in a non-governmental organisation and for the University of Oxford, as a researcher for Oxfam, and as a paralegal, and volunteered for charities in London and Indonesia. Vanina subsequently achieved distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP and the Legal Practice Course at City University in London.
