Hunters recognised in The Times Best Law Firms 2021

“While this Lincoln’s Inn practice counts multinational corporations and start-ups among its business clients, it is best known for acting for private individuals. In family matters it advises on everything from prenuptial agreements to divorces, seeking to arrive at agreed settlements through mediation and arbitration, with court proceedings as a last resort.

“In August 2020, the firm’s family team successfully represented the respondent to a long-running application to relocate children abroad. Although, according to case law, such applications need to be determined in the children’s best interests, it remains unusual for a respondent to be successful in preventing a relocation, particularly one endorsed by the Child and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass). In addition, the firm achieved a rare order for costs against Cafcass, which was not a party to the proceedings.”
