Hunters Law is recognised in The Times’ Best Law Firms 2023

Hunters is delighted to announce that it has been recognised in The Times’ Best Law Firms 2023.

The Firm has been highlighted as one of the top 250 legal practices in England and Wales, commended for Family.

Highlights of the year include representing trustees in an unusual Court of Protection application for a statutory will or codicil of an individual lacking the mental capacity to meet the strict requirements of making the will. The aim was to ensure that the assets, worth several millions of pounds, would devolve in accordance with the trustees’ understanding of the beneficiary’s wishes. A number of national charities were involved in proceedings and a settlement was reached through mediation.

The firm also acted for Peter Phillips, the son of the Princess Royal, in his divorce and related financial proceedings. The family department represented many high-profile clients on family breakdowns that led to complex financial and international issues.
