Hunters art law team assists Forum Auctions with its first ever NFT auction

The art law team at Hunters Law LLP is pleased to have assisted Forum Auctions in delivering its first auction of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

The collection of AI-generated NFT artworks by Eponym offered for sale showcased 20 digital layered artworks created by artists interacting with artificial intelligence as part of the Eponym project.  Eponyms are works of art produced using a text-to-art generator developed by ART AI.  In this first of a kind auction, Forum Auction collaborated with Artbrain to offer exclusive access to a drop of new AI-generated Eponyms that have been layered into multi-image EpoStories and minted as single NFTs.  Detailed information on each of the artworks and their creators can be accessed here.

In this fast developing area of law at the interface of art and crypto assets, Hunters Law LLP was able to support the auction by generating a customised set of terms and conditions of consignment and sale for NFTs, together with supplemental terms for payment by crypto currency.
