Calling on all family lawyers to complete this survey on economic abuse!

We are calling on all members of Resolution and the Family Law Bar Association (FLBA) to complete this short survey on how domestic abuse is handled in financial remedy, Schedule I and cohabitation cases.

The survey has been produced by Resolution's Economic Abuse Working Party, a multidisciplinary group which comprises members of Resolution's Domestic Abuse Committee, Cohabitation Committee and Financial Remedy Committee, as well as academics, Independent Financial Advisors and domestic abuse charities.

The aim is to explore the invaluable experiences and views of family law professionals on this challenging and pressing issue.

We are unlikely to have another opportunity in the near future to canvas our entire profession's views on the way in which domestic abuse features in finances upon separation. This is a golden opportunity! We are keen to hear from as many of you as possible; your responses will form the basis of important policy work.

Huge thanks to all our amazing EAWP members for your hard work, vigorous debate, brilliant brains and patience for the endless drafts and re-drafts that got us to this point.
