Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
At Hunters, we are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion (“EDI”) for all members of the firm, our clients, contacts and job applicants. Senior Partner, Henry Hood, recognises this as a priority and wishes to ensure that “the firm is a welcoming and inclusive home for all clients, lawyers and staff, committed to recruiting, retaining and promoting talent from diverse backgrounds”.
Our vacation scheme has been designed to progress our efforts to improve EDI within the firm. It is being marketed to as wide a pool of potential candidates as we can manage; it is a paid placement and applications will be considered and reviewed anonymously. Participants will play an active role in our work and will be provided with training to improve their interview and presentation skills.
When announcing the relaunch of the vacation scheme, our Senior Partner said this: “Hunters is committed to attracting and retaining a broad and diverse range of talent. I sincerely hope that aspiring lawyers from all backgrounds and with a range of previous life experiences will feel encouraged to take part in our vacation scheme, and take advantage of the experience and training that we are pleased to be able to offer.”
