Constitution and administration

Constitution and administration

This is the key to our charity practice.

We advise the promoters of new charities on all aspects relating to their establishment, whether by way of incorporation, trust or membership association.

We liaise with the Charity Commission, Privy Council and other regulatory authorities not only in relation to the founding of new charities but also in connection with all on-going charity affairs.

For established charities, we conduct constitutional reviews, prepare governance handbooks, handle all aspects relating to safeguarding, arrange collaborative undertakings and oversee joint ventures and mergers. Where necessary, we set up new governing instruments, audits and reviews, incorporate successor charities, and obtain Supplementary Charters for existing entities governed by Royal Charter.

Charity Experts

We identify our clients’ needs and tailor our work to each set of circumstances, providing high quality, cost effective advice. We are a multi-disciplinary practice and work collaboratively to provide a comprehensive service across all of our practice areas.
