Charity property

It is often the lifeblood of charities, and yet at times fund-raising can seem very daunting. The law governing all aspects of fund-raising is complex. For instance, there are specific regulations covering commercial participation, professional fund-raising arrangements, appeals, distance selling, door-to-door collections and telephone donations. The VAT elements alone are a minefield.

We have extensive experience of all types of fund-raising activities from lotteries and competitions to village fetes and government sponsored disaster appeals. We also assist in grant-making arrangements and have particular expertise in the field of tax-efficient donations, legacies and bequests by private individuals.
