Sam Young joined Hunters in 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department, following our merger with Peachey & Co LLP.

Before joining Hunters, Sam worked at Peachey & Co from 2023, gaining experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial dispute resolution and commercial real estate.

Sam holds a BA in Politics and a Certificate of Higher Education in Finance from Durham University.

Notable matters:

• Assisted on Master Service Agreements and commercial terms for a sports data analytics company.
• Assisted with advising Verditek Plc in a corporate restructuring (a disposal under AIM Rule 15), debt financing, board changes and subsequent share placing.
• Assisted on a £1.1m acquisition transaction in a string of 30 acquisitions for a single private equity backed client.
• Assisted on financing agreements and commercial terms for an international specialist trading company.
