Sam Young

Trainee Solicitor

Sam Young joined Hunters in 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department, following our merger with Peachey & Co LLP.

Before joining Hunters, Sam worked at Peachey & Co from 2023, gaining experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial dispute resolution and commercial real estate.

Sam holds a BA in Politics and a Certificate of Higher Education in Finance from Durham University.

Assisted with advising Verditek Plc in a corporate restructuring (a disposal under AIM Rule 15), debt financing, board changes and subsequent share placing.
Assisted with advising an international investment fund on their lead investment in a £2.5m seed funding round in a UK university spin-out.
Assisted with advising an international private-equity backed group on their acquisition of a UK-based cyber security company.
Assisted with advising a private-equity backed client on several acquisitions of UK-based security companies.
Assisted with advising shareholders on their share sale to a multi-national private equity fund.
Advised clients on a wide range of commercial agreements in sectors such as sports & media, commodities, ecosystem restoration, SaaS and deep tech.
