Rory Wilson joined Hunters in 2024 as a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial department, following our merger with Peachey & Co LLP.
Rory advises a diverse range of clients, from start-ups and SMEs to multinational corporations, with a focus on investments, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. He also provides guidance on commercial contracts, debt facilities, joint venture structures, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Hunters, Rory had worked at Peachey & Co since 2013, becoming Partner in 2019. He qualified as a solicitor in 2013, after studying Physics at the University of Bristol and then completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP University.
Notable matters:
- Advised Dendra Systems Ltd on its Series B fundraising round valuing the company at over $95m.
- Advised the shareholders of Busworks Limited on the sale of the company to Workspace Plc in a deal valuing the business at £45m.
- Advised on a string of 30 (and counting) acquisitions for a single private equity backed client on a buy and build strategy.
- Advised clients on Series A, bridge and Seed rounds, led by investors including Airbus Ventures, Index Ventures, XTX Ventures, SOSV, Anthemis, At One Ventures, Chalfen, Lower Carbon Capital, Chrysalix Ventures, PI Labs and others.
- Advised clients on Venture Debt facilities from lenders such as Boost, Norgine Ventures, Harbert and others.
