Nicholas Alun-Jones joined Hunters in 2024 as a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial department, following our merger with Peachey & Co LLP.
Nicholas advises on all aspects of commercial contracts, managing complex, business-critical projects for high-profile clients. His expertise spans a broad range of sectors, including shipping, commodity trading, technology, natural resources, and ESG initiatives. He also provides guidance on intellectual property, brand protection, and data protection.
He builds strong relationships with clients, combining legal expertise with an understanding of their business objectives and organisational structures.
Prior to joining Hunters, Nicholas joined Peachey & Co as a Partner in 2000. He qualified as a solicitor in 1997 after completing his CPE at The University of Law in 1994. He holds a BA in Modern History from the University of London, which he completed in 1991.

- Acting for the claimant in a €100m multi-jurisdictional part-19 derivative fraud claim.
- Advised a multi-jurisdictional green technology group on its Series B fundraising round valuing the company at over $95m.
- Advised on cross-border acquisition of a UK based contract research organisation.
- Commenced opposition proceedings against trademark application for multi-national retail corporation.
- Regular financing agreements and commercial terms for international specialist trading company.
