Trainee Solicitor
Hannah Herbert-Owen joined Hunters in September 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently working in our Commercial Property and Residential Property departments.
Hannah read History at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 2023. Hannah also holds a Master of Arts in law, and passed both the Solicitors Qualifying Examination 1 (SQE1) and Solicitors Qualifying Examination 2 (SQE2) in 2025 on her first attempt, achieving results in the top quintile for SQE1.
During her time at university, Hannah was Co-President of the Trinity College History Society, and also enjoyed rowing in the 1st Women’s VIII with the First & Third Trinity Boat Club.
Hannah also took part in mooting at university and was a competitor in the Inaugural Cambridge University Mock Trial Society competition.
Outside of work, Hannah is an editor for The Cambridge Journal of Law, Politics, and Art (CJLPA), an internationally recognised journal bridging legal scholarship and practice.
Hannah also enjoys sailing and music, having been a music scholar at school, and was a mentor in the London Chamber Orchestra Mentoring Programme, which involved teaching children to read and rehearse music for the first time, in pursuit of a final performance for the Duchess of Cornwall (now Queen) at Cadogan Hall.
