David Wilson joined Hunters in 2024 as a Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial department, following our merger with Peachey & Co LLP.
David is a well-trusted commercial advisor who specialises in negotiating complex corporate transactions. He advises on public markets and private equity investments, debt issues and acquisitions and disposals of businesses in the UK.
He also has extensive experience on competition law, representing clients in anti-trust cases and merger control matters.
Prior to joining Hunters, David had worked at Peachey & Co LLP since 1986 and became Partner in 1988. He studied Politics and Economic History at the University of Exeter before completing his LPC at The University of Law in 1984.
Notable matters:
- Advised Verditek Plc in a corporate restructuring (a disposal under AIM Rule 15), debt financing, board changes and subsequent share placing.
- Advised Argos Resources in a corporate restructuring (and ‘delisting’ from AIM).
- Advised Gresham House in their investment in Fischer Farms (indoor hydroponic farming).
- Advised Helios Underwriting plc in £60m secondary offer on the AIM market.
- Advised on the UK law aspects of a multimillion dollar syndicated loan facility.
- Acted on the acquisition, development and financing of various battery storage projects.
