HL Safeguarding Consultant
Becky French is a consultant at HL Safeguarding. She has served in the Royal Air Force as an Aerospace Systems Operator, seeing tours of duty in the Falkand Islands and Cyprus, with active tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Upon leaving the RAF, Becky transitioned into the private security sector, initially as an event security manager overseeing the security management of internationally recognised sporting events before moving into the operational security sector.
Becky is hugely experienced when it comes to designing and implementing end-to-end operational security planning for multi-disciplined projects operating in the United Kingdom and the developing world, with a particular focus on eastern Africa and the Middle East.
As a result, Becky has built up an enviable and essential set of safeguarding skills that includes risk management, security planning, security management, project management, disaster recovery, business continuity planning and operational security planning.
This means Becky has all the expertise needed to audit and review your organisation’s current approach to safeguarding and security and, as required, develop and delivering new security architecture, draft new policies and procedures and deliver the training your employees will need to support your new safeguarding protocols.
Outside work Becky is a keen sportswoman, with a particular interest in golf, tennis, and squash and while her playing days are behind, she remains an avid Rugby Union fan. Becky also has a keen interest in history, most specifically military history and the Tudor period.
