Anna joined our Charities and Safeguarding team in 2026.

She has experience in advising a wide range of charities and not‑for‑profit organisations, including international aid organisations and charities operating in the healthcare, education, humanitarian and faith sectors. She has a strong background in supporting charities through their establishment, including incorporations and charity registrations. She is also skilled in later‑stage governance matters, such as charity mergers, restructurings, legal structure updates, and the creation of trading subsidiaries.

Anna also developed experience in assisting with representing charities in Commission investigations and inquiries; supporting charity trustees in responding to allegations of misconduct or mismanagement. Anna has also helped organisations strengthen their governance to meet regulatory requirements and reduce the risk of regulatory engagement.

In relation to ongoing governance, Anna works closely with boards of charity trustees to develop governance policies tailored to their organisation’s needs, and advises them on their duties. She also assists with updating constitutions and governing documents to reflect current best practice.

Anna is a member of the Charity Law Association.

She completed her training at Womble Bond Dickinson where she gained experience in Property, Commercial and Corporate Law, Dispute Resolution and Charity Law.

In her free time Anna enjoys going on long walks with her dog, and riding her motorbike.
