Rebecca deals with all aspects of family law, including nuptial agreements, issues arising from the breakdown of a relationship, particularly financial issues, and matters relating to children.

She has written and commented for several publications, including The Times, The Observer and Spear’s on topics of national interest. Several of Rebecca’s articles reflect issues she has encountered through her work, such as emotional abuse with particular reference to gaslighting.

Rebecca works regularly with Hunters’ Property and Private Client teams, particularly on dynastic trust and agricultural matters. In November 2019, as a member of the Agricultural Law Association, Rebecca spoke at the Association’s Autumn Conference on ‘Divorce and Farming’, and has written several articles on the subject for The Law Society Gazette and Thomson Reuters.

Rebecca was named as the Silver winner of ‘Family Lawyer of the Year – Associate’ at the Citywealth Future Leader Awards 2019.

Rebecca trained with Hunters, joining in September 2015 and qualifying into the Family department in 2017. In addition to family law, she is also a member of the Art and Cultural Property department and is a member of Art Resolve and Professional Advisers to the International Art Market (PAIAM).

“I have been a client of Rebecca’s for the last 18 months. She has been outstanding in helping me navigate through divorce proceedings. It’s hard to overstate how much Rebecca’s professional experience helped achieve a successful result, while her empathy kept me sane at the same time. Her approach to challenging and often spikey communication from the other parties was always considered, informed and professional. Her tone of voice always keeps the temperature down and any anxiety I started to build up was always defused after a quick conversation. She’s not easily deterred either, so there were many occasions when I was enormously grateful she was on my side. I will recommend Rebecca in a heartbeat. She’s just damn good at what she does and a thoroughly nice person.”

“Rebecca has been representing me for my ongoing divorce. I can honestly say I do not know how she manages to retain all the never-ending stream of information and facts to do with this case, knowing that she is also working on many other cases too. She always makes you feel that it is only you she is working for and is 100% committed to the job in hand. Alongside her meticulous record keeping, she also has just the right amount of empathy as well, so that I as the client, know she is doing her utmost best. Rebecca knows how to read a situation very quickly, and that I think is very valuable. Rebecca manages to try and make the whole situation as stress free as possible, whilst managing expectations, which is very very helpful too. Whenever I have a telephone call with her or an exchange of emails, I am always left with the feeling that she is totally "on it", in tandem with being respectful, patient and super-efficient.”
