After gaining a History degree from Southampton University and completing the law conversion course at the College of Law Chester, Julia trained with Theodore Goddard where she qualified in 1999.

She worked at Farrer & Co LLP for six years and joined May, May & Merrimans as a partner in 2007, before they joined forces with Hunters in 2015.

Julia has strong tax and trusts expertise and a particular interest in estate planning, landed estates and heritage property. She also has extensive experience advising on wills, powers of attorney, probate and the administration of estates. Her work also involves supervising other members of the Private Client team in relation to the full range of private client work, including probate.
