Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, Jonathan has followed a career of acting for UK domiciled & non-domiciled landed estate owners and farmers.

This has been whilst based in principally the North East of England, East Anglia and latterly the South East, but he has acted for landowners & farmers (both landlord & tenant) throughout England & Wales.

Jonathan specialises in agricultural and rural property law & legal aspects of landed estate management. He has accrued expertise & experience in a wide range of matters: from agricultural tenancies & grazing licences to bespoke rural property occupation agreements; buying and selling farms & landed estates; sporting rights; riparian rights; first registration of land & sporting rights and a wide variety of landed estate & farm management issues, being the initial point of contact for a wide range of matters.

Jonathan has a particular interest and experience in succession planning for family businesses and innovative uses of elements of landed estates & farms to create new sources of business & income for the family business.
