Alexandra Baggallay

Senior Associate

Alexandra advises on a broad range of private family law matters, including divorce and separation, financial claims, nuptial agreements, cohabitation and private children law matters.

Alexandra is a Senior Associate in the family team at Hunters. She advises clients on all aspects of family law, with an emphasis on high net worth financial remedy proceedings on divorce, often with an international element. She has a varied client base with backgrounds in finance, family businesses, the arts and landed estates.

Alexandra has expertise in sensitive private children law matters which often involve disputes regarding the arrangements for the children upon their parents’ separation, applications by one parent to relocate a child elsewhere in the UK or abroad or specific issues regarding schooling or a change of name.

Alexandra’s practice also involves the preparation and negotiation of pre- and post-nuptial agreements in order to seek to protect certain assets in the event of a divorce.

Alexandra is commended for her calm approach and, although has extensive litigation experience, is committed to achieving solutions outside court wherever possible and has an interest in alternative dispute resolution.

Alexandra joined Hunters as a trainee and qualified in 2012. She is a member of Resolution and is a contributor to the Practical Law Company Family law site.
