Hunters supports the King’s Women Entrepreneurs Network Business Retreat
Partner, Rory Wilson and Associate, Izabella Brooks of our Corporate & Commercial department supported the 2025 Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) Business Retreat.
The retreat took place at Kings Entrepreneurs Institute from Friday 28th February until Sunday 2nd March. The 3-day retreat was aimed at entrepreneurs who identify as women or non-binary people, have a strong understanding of a problem or challenge and have developed a potential marketable solution that they want to pursue.
Rory and Izabella hosted a Q&A session where founders participating in the retreat could ask questions. They covered a wide range of subjects, from equity allocations and vesting, to Intellectual Property Rights, to sales processes and dealing with customers in foreign jurisdictions.
WEN exists to push the boundaries of access and entrepreneurship. To shift what success looks like, and what an entrepreneur is, in the world, in their communities, in society and collaboratively. Rory and Izabella have expressed how meaningful it was to be even a small part of these founders' journeys and to support a transformative and supportive network.
We really believe that having the right legal advisors onboard from an early stage can help accelerate a start-up's development, and this is why we have created our Legal Incubator offering.
