Hunters supports Long Covid Kids in charity football tournament

Last Thursday (29 August), we were proud to support and participate in Gravita’s charity football tournament in support of Long Covid Kids.

Our team, Lydia Chapman, Oliver Gregory, Tomas Jakab, Julia Norris and Sunir Watts, joined seven professional firms from across London for a day of friendly competition, networking, and fundraising.

Partner, Sunir Watts, said ‘We were the only mixed team, but we still held our own, scoring nine goals over the course of the three games—and none of us were injured!’

Long Covid Kids is a UK-based international charity dedicated to assisting families and children affected by long COVID and related illnesses. Their mission is to raise awareness about the symptoms of long COVID in children, aiming to enhance understanding, aid in early diagnosis, and improve the overall response and intervention strategies.

Their work not only aims to improve the lived experiences of affected families but also supports recovery through better healthcare practices and interventions. Additionally, they are actively involved in funding and participating in global research to better understand the health implications of long COVID and support recovery.
