Hunters attend the PAM awards

Hunters were delighted to attend the 28th Private Asset Management ('PAM') awards on Thursday 12 March. The PAM awards are the most sought-after in the UK wealth management sector, recognising firms who shine both in investment performance and their client service levels.
Matthew Yates, Wilfrid Vernor-Miles, Caroline Fougler, Megan Minvielle, Áine Williams, Leah Krishnarayan, Grace Gannon and I enjoyed a delicious dinner, champagne on tap, and comedy from our compère Ivo Graham at the 'Oscars of the private asset management world'.
Hunters were thrilled to sponsor the 2026 award for Total Wealth Planning High Net Worth (£1m +). JM Finn, Evelyn Partners and W1M were shortlisted as finalists, and W1M scooped the award, which was presented by our Head of Department, Matthew Yates. It was a pleasure to welcome members of the W1M team, who picked up four awards on the night, to speak to us earlier in the week on the topic 'Demystifying investments'.
Jonathan Ruffer, philanthropist and founder of Ruffer Investment Management, received the lifetime achievement award, and firms were recognised for their innovation and the quality of their client service, among other markers of excellence.
The evening provided an excellent opportunity to connect with our peers and celebrate industry accomplishments. We extend our warm congratulations to all the finalists and winners, and our thanks to the organisers for hosting yet another outstanding event.
Hunters look forward to next year’s celebration and to continuing our role in championing excellence within the private wealth management industry.
