David Draisey recognised in the Spear’s Index of Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyers 2026

We're pleased to share that David Draisey, Head of Hunters' Litigation & Dispute Resolution department, has been recognised in this year's Spear's 500 Legal Index as a Top Recommended dispute resolution and litigation lawyer for high-net-worth individuals.
Widely regarded as a leading guide to the most trusted advisers serving high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, the Spear's 500 Legal Index highlights lawyers who combine outstanding technical expertise with strategic judgement to help protect clients' wealth and reputation in complex and often sensitive disputes.
Commenting on the recognition, David said:
“I'm very grateful to be recognised by Spear's alongside so many respected colleagues in the profession. At Hunters, our aim is to provide clear, strategic guidance that helps clients manage complex disputes and, where possible, avoid them altogether.”
David trained at Hunters and became a partner in 2018. He advises on a broad range of contentious matters, with particular expertise in trust and probate disputes, as well as residential and commercial property disputes. His clients include trustees, beneficiaries, landed estate owners and city professionals.

“A significant number of familial conflicts arise from the transfer of wealth between generations. ‘The biggest issue is communication,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘By that I mean the older generation not making it clear to the next generation – of whom there might be multiple individuals – precisely what it is they are intending to do and why, rather leaving it to an explanation from a solicitor post-death or in some other forum.’"
