Daniel Watson named in eprivateclient NextGen Leaders list 2025

We’re pleased to share that Daniel Watson, Senior Associate in our Private Client department, has been named in the 2025 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders list.
The annual ranking recognises outstanding young professionals across the UK and Crown Dependencies working in private client advisory roles, including lawyers, accountants, and trustees.
This year, 88 individuals were selected from nearly 500 nominations, based on their technical expertise, leadership potential, and contributions to the profession.
Daniel joined Hunters in 2017 after completing his training contract with the firm and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2023. He advises on a broad range of private client matters, with particular expertise in Court of Protection applications and trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries.
Daniel commented: “I’m delighted to be included in eprivateclient’s 2025 NextGen Leaders list. Congratulations to all the other recipients of this year’s award. Thank you to everyone who nominated me, and to Hunters for their invaluable support throughout my career. I am very fortunate to be part of a renowned and award-winning private client team, and it’s an honour to be recognised for our work in successfully guiding clients through an ever-changing tax and legal landscape”.
Matthew Yates, Head of our Private Client team, said: “We’re thrilled to see Daniel’s work recognised in this way. His thoughtful approach, technical skill and commitment to supporting clients make him a valued member of our team and a credit to the profession.”
