Celebrating a year of success and growth at Hunters
As 2024 draws to a close, we are able to reflect on what has been a remarkable year for Hunters, marked by significant change, numerous accolades and the addition of talented new team members.
Most notable, was the merging of Hunters and Peachey & Co LLP, to create an expanded corporate and commercial offering a few short weeks ago, and perhaps also the implementation of our new brand and website in April.
Both initiatives marked a new era for our firm, whilst respecting our long and distinguished history, and it has been rewarding to see the positive impact on our clients and team. These changes have not only enhanced our market presence, but also strengthened our ability to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.
We are proud to have received many awards throughout the year, across all departments. Arif Kamal’s innovative leadership earned him the title of ‘Most Innovative Law Firm CFO’ at the C-Suite Awards 2024. Our Private Client department was honoured to win ‘Private Client Law Firm (Boutique)’ in the eprivateclient Excellence Awards and to be recognised as a ‘Top Law Firm’.
Our Family & Relationships department was delighted to pick up the award for ‘Financial Remedies Team of the Year’ at the LexisNexis Family Law Awards last month and also received recognition in eprivateclient as a ‘Top Family Law Firm’.
Alongside this, we celebrated record years in the Legal 500, Chambers UK and Chambers HNW directories, and were ranked for the sixth consecutive year in the Times Best Law Firms 2025.
None of this could have happened without the work of our entire team, to which we welcomed several new members this year.
In the Family & Relationships department, Alex Brereton and Amy Rowe joined as Partners, and Dr Maria Wright as Senior Associate. Our Private Client department was strengthened with the addition of Tomas Jakab as Trust & Tax Manager, Charlotte Nelson and Lucy Byrne as Associate and Isha Sharma as Paralegal.
To our Corporate & Commercial department, we welcomed David Wilson, Nicholas Alun-Jones, Clare Brennan and Rory Wilson as Partners and Izabella Brooks, Bianca King and Cecilie Mortensen as Associates.
Partner Jonathan Dobkin joined our Commercial Property department and Farriah Shams joined our Residential Property department, while our Operations Team saw new arrivals in compliance, marketing and human resources. We also welcomed Fred Taucher and Sam Young as Trainee Solicitors.
On behalf of all of us here at Hunters, I’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued support and trust in us. We wish you and your family a joyful festive season and a happy New Year.
We look forward to continuing our work with you in 2025, building on our successes and striving for even greater achievements together.
