Our Chief Finance & Operations Officer, Arif Kamal, reflects on his journey since joining Hunters in 2018. He discusses his dedication to innovation and modernising Hunters, blending tradition with technology for client excellence. When Arif arrived, he recognised the firm’s strong reputation in private wealth, property, and family law, but also saw opportunities to enhance its operational efficiency. At the time, only a few lawyers had laptops and many internal processes were still manual. Arif saw this as untapped potential and began implementing changes to bring the firm’s infrastructure in line with its legal expertise.
Over the past seven years, Arif has led a quiet but transformative shift, introducing new technologies and streamlining systems while preserving the firm’s heritage. His approach has been to modernise thoughtfully, ensuring that innovation supports, rather than disrupts, the firm’s client-focused ethos. Under his leadership, Hunters has embraced a more agile, tech-enabled way of working, positioning the firm to meet the evolving needs of clients while maintaining the trust and tradition that define its legacy.
