Art & Taxation Afternoon Seminar (Swedenborg Society)

Hunters are delighted to support the Institute of Art & Law’s Art & Taxation Afternoon Seminar, which will take place on 7 June, 2018 at the Swedenborg Society.

The seminar will focus on issues of taxation involving artworks and other cultural objects. What tax matters should collectors and dealers consider when putting together an art collection? What incentives exist regarding artworks and cultural objects to alleviate a tax burden? And what are the leading cases in this area.

Partner, Jonathan Godwin-Austen, will deliver a talk entitled: ‘Art collectors and tax planning’.
