Hunters’ success in The Legal 500 UK 2020

We are delighted that seven of our departments have been ranked in The Legal 500 UK 2020:

  • Art and Cultural Property – Tier 2
  • Charities and Not-for-Profit – Tier 3

  • Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate – Tier 2

The Agriculture and Estates department is ranked in Tier 2, with Alexandra Sarkis, Peter Robinson and James Vernor-Miles noted as key contacts. Jonathan Thompson is highlighted as: ‘extremely knowledgeable. During an extremely complex issue he guided us and made us aware of the issues and pitfalls that no other professional had raised‘.

Both Hetty Gleave and Gregor Kleinknecht are recognised as Leading Individuals for Art and Cultural Property. Petra Warrington and Julia Richards are also recognised as key lawyers within this area.

In Charities and Not-for-Profit, Paul Almy and Wilfrid Vernor-Miles are recognised as key lawyers. Dominik Opaliński is also recognised and noted for his ‘considerable experience of the subject and massive enthusiasm for solving problems‘.

Contentious trusts and probate remains strong in Tier 3, with Richard Kershaw recognised as a Leading Individual and David Draisey as a recommended lawyer.

Family is highly-regarded in Tier 2, noting:Hunters is a top-end family law firm with a formidable reputation. The client care and attention to detail here is exceptional‘. Both Henry Hood and Richard Kershaw are Leading Individuals, with Amy Scollan recognised as a Rising Star.

Hunters also received exceptional recognition in Family: Mediation: ‘Hunters is able to field a large team of family mediators, all experienced partners in the firm. That enables them to offer an adept, swift response.’ Partners Hazel Wright, Henry Hood and Jo Carr-West are recognised as Leading Individuals.
