Hunters’ success in Chambers UK 2019

We are delighted to report that Hunters has once again given a strong performance in the 2019 edition of Chambers and Partners UK, in a range of departments.

Three departments are highlighted: Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Family/Matrimonial and Art and Cultural Property with six practitioners being specifically recommended.

The Agriculture & Rural Affairs Department is ranked in Band 3, noted as “very professional” with “a very personal service” and have a “very client-focused” ethos. Jonathan Godwin-Austen is ranked in Band 4 and is noted as an “expert in trusts and estates law.”

The Art and Cultural Property Department is ranked in Band 2, and are commended as “tremendously skilful, knowledgeable and personable.” Hetty Gleave, ranked in Band 3 is described as “widely respected in treasure work.” Gregor Kleinknecht, also ranked in Band 3 is recognised as “very knowledgeable, thoughtful and efficient, and is keen to give the client the best advice and get the right results.”

The Family/Matrimonial Department is ranked in Band 3, receiving praise from clients noting the Firm’s ability to “look after clients in a bespoke way”, adding “They are realistic about the outcomes from the beginning – they’re tough when needed, but also accommodating. The department is a really strong and modern one.” Henry Hood is ranked in Band 2 and comes highly recommended as “a real tour de force” who is “fiercely protective of his clients and totally committed to getting the best outcome for them.” Hetty Gleave is ranked in Band 3 and is described as “empathetic and a good litigator” with another source noting that she “provides prompt, patient and carefully considered advice.” Jo Carr-West is also recognised as an Up and Coming lawyer, and is described as “extremely personable and supportive.” Richard Kershaw is also ranked as a Recognised Practitioner for his expertise in this practise.
