We are delighted with the firm’s performance in the current edition of the Legal 500 published on 1st October.

Agriculture and Estates continues its strong position. Led by Patricia Sykes, the team is “excellent” and includes the “technically strong” Lucinda Tite. Our “excellent” Personal Tax, Trust and Probate department led by Jonathan Godwin-Austen mentions Joe Richardson “uniquely good and all that a private client tax solicitor should be”, Andrew Parry is “exceptionally sensitive to family politics”, Lucinda Tite and Rachel Mainwaring-Taylor are both “technically strong and pragmatic”, Matthew Yates is recommended as “reliable” and Wilfrid Vernor-Miles is “sensitive, calming, and on top of the subject matter”.

The family team has enjoyed success in two categories. In the new Family Mediation category Hazel Wright is highlighted as ‘insightful, calm, and reassuring to her clients’ as well as being listed as a leading individual. Henry Hood has also been recommend as “a mediator of the highest calibre and able to mediate across a whole range of issues”. The department is also ranked in the  general Family law section with Henry Hood being noted for his “natural authority and ability to see the whole picture”, Graeme Fraser for “always being a pleasure to work with”, Hazel Wright as a “great addition to the team”, Hetty Gleave who “works tirelessly” and the “clever” Richard Kershaw.

The Charities and Not-for-Profit department continues to feature with Paul Almy mentioned as an “experienced private client lawyer” and Dominik Opalinski praised as an “enthusiastic practitioner”.

Legal 500 recommended two more departments. Our Art & Cultural Property are commended for their specialised knowledge and Contentious Trusts & Probate department is noted for its complex, high value litigation.
