Congratulations are due to Ivan Ho on his appointment as the new Editor of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society’s (CWHLS) quarterly journal, ‘The Report’.
CWHLS represents a geographical area stretching roughly from the south side of Oxford Street across the old Metropolitan Borough of Holborn to the boundary of the City of London, containing around 10,000 admitted solicitors and many more legal professionals. CWHLS has a standing Committee of which Ivan is an elected member which meets monthly; and eight sub-committees which meet regularly to discuss issues in specific legal and professional areas. CWHLS’ role is to be their members’ principal representative body, providing a forum for networking and discussion and helping to promote ethical and professional legal services in the 21st Century.
Ivan Ho has been a member of the Main Committee of CWHLS since November 2008; he is also a member of CWHLS’ Land Law and Conveyancing Sub-Committee, and takes over the editorship of The Report following the retirement, after 10 years, of the last Editor. He joined Hunters’ Property Team after he qualified with the firm in 2006 and specialises in numerous aspects of residential and commercial property work.
