Developing energy projects

We advise developers and landowners on pre-development and development stage projects, including negotiating lease options, oversight of planning, structuring project SPVs, grid connection offers, financing, grid connection through to ‘exit’. We have advised clients developing:

• onshore wind
• biomass
• onshore and offshore conventional and unconventional oil and gas projects

Project finance

Advising on financing and re-financing construction stage projects including advising on LMA debt facilities, bond and mini-bond issuances, and equity financing. We also act for lenders looking to finance projects.

Mergers and acquisitions

We advise clients on the buy-side and the sell-side, including owners and managers of developed and/or constructed projects.

Energy and resources disputes

Resolving disputes related to energy projects both domestic and international, in the High Court and in the LCIA.
