Child Support – New Proposals

The Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission (CMEC) have published its proposals for a new child maintenance scheme.

Proposals include basing the assessment on the latest tax-year gross income sourced directly from HMRC, annual reviews, new rules for second families, changes to requirements where care is shared equally and flat rate deductions from state benefits.
