Webinar: The Invisible Danger of Zombie Firms – Active Risk Management across Europe

On 15 June 2021, Hunters’ associate Anastassia Dimmek joined lawyers from a range of European jurisdictions to discuss the key challenges of protecting clients’ healthy businesses from zombie firms in a webinar hosted by Advoselect. Many companies across Europe are currently being kept artificially alive with state aid and experts have already warned of an impending wave of insolvencies once government decides to phase out the current programmes. The webinar addresses the warning signs of economic distress in customers, suppliers or business partners and is tailored to active risk management for entrepreneurs. Anastassia examines the current situation in England & Wales, highlighting amendments to insolvency procedures as a result of Covid-19 legislation, as well as changes to cross-border enforcements after Brexit.

This webinar is held in German and includes insights into the perspectives of Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands. Watch the discussion on England and Wales at 45:42.
